Interview with a Life Brain Training Client: How NeurOptimal® Transformed My Life

I am so thankful to have met Danni *, a courageous individual who has agreed to sit down with me and share her powerful journey of overcoming panic attacks and PTSD with the help of NeurOptimal®.

For many years, Danni struggled with intense anxiety and the debilitating effects of PTSD, which left her feeling trapped in her own life.

Today, she’s here to tell us how NeurOptimal® sessions helped her break free from the grip of panic and anxiety, allowing her to regain control of her life. Her story is a testament to the power of neurofeedback and the profound impact it can have on mental and emotional well-being. Let’s dive into her journey and hear how accessing NeurOptimal® sessions with Life Brain Training has transformed her life.

Carlie : Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us today.

To start, could you tell us a little about what life was like for you before you found NeurOptimal®?

Danni: Of course. Before I found NeurOptimal®, my life was very difficult.

I’ve always struggled with anxiety and PTSD, but over time, it got much worse. It evolved into full-blown panic attacks. Simple things like driving or even being a passenger in a car would trigger an attack. I couldn’t sit still for long without feeling overwhelmed, and the panic attacks were so intense that I ended up becoming housebound.

I felt like I had lost so much of my life, and it was really hard to imagine things getting better.

Carlie : That sounds incredibly challenging. What had you tried before NeurOptimal® to manage these symptoms?

Danni: I had tried quite a few things before finding NeurOptimal®. I was seeing a counselor regularly, practicing meditation, doing somatic stretching, and exercising when I could. I also had massage therapy and acupuncture sessions, although the panic attacks often made those hard to stick with. Despite all my efforts, nothing seemed to make a lasting difference.

Carlie: So what made you decide to try NeurOptimal® sessions with Life Brain Training?

Danni: Honestly, I was desperate for something that could help me feel like myself again. I didn’t want to rely on prescription medication, as I was worried about becoming numb or losing my sense of self. One of my family members, who works as an occupational therapist, recommended NeurOptimal® to me. She had seen it work for some of her clients and was really enthusiastic about its potential. That got me curious, so I decided to give it a try.

Carlie : What was your experience like when you first started with NeurOptimal®? Were the sessions relaxing? And when you were renting the system, was it easy to use?

Danni: At first, I was a little nervous, but meeting and working with you, helped me to feel completely at ease.

Once the session started, I felt this deep sense of relaxation.

The music you use is beautiful and really helps set the tone.

After my very first session, I noticed some big changes. I was able to take public transport for the first time in months, and while I was still shaky, I actually made it through without having a panic attack. It felt like the sessions were helping me break free from that constant fight-or-flight state.

Renting the machine at home for a month was an easy decision after that initial session. The system was simple to set up, and we had no issues with it during the entire rental period.

Plus, my partner, who has ADHD, also began to experience some benefits, as did my mother.

She found that she could remember things more easily, which was amazing to see.

Carlie: That’s incredible progress in such a short time. How do you feel NeurOptimal® has helped you specifically?

Danni: NeurOptimal® has made a huge difference in my life. I’m now back to driving, I can go to work again, and I can even run errands by myself—things I couldn’t have done just a few months ago. I’m able to sit through appointments without feeling overwhelmed, and I can attend social events again without the constant fear of panic. I feel like I’m no longer stuck in that fight-or-flight response. NeurOptimal® has given me the space I needed to really work through my issues, and I’m stronger and happier because of it.

Carlie: That’s so wonderful to hear. Can I ask you to let others know what was your experience with Life Brain Training as a whole, and would you recommend NeurOptimal® to others?

Danni: Life Brain Training was fantastic. I felt like you really took the time to track my progress after each session and over time, which helped me see just how much I was improving. I’ve already recommended NeurOptimal® to several friends and family members, and I’ve seen them experience positive results as well. It’s such a valuable tool for improving mental and emotional well-being. I’m so grateful I found it, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s struggling with anxiety, PTSD, or any other challenges. It truly helps you function at your best.

Carlie: I just want to extend my gratitiude again to Danni, for sharing her inspiring story and showing us the incredible impact NeurOptimal® has had on her life.

Her journey is a powerful reminder of the transformative potential of neurofeedback in overcoming challenges like panic attacks and PTSD.
